Hasan al-Basri gab einigen seiner Studenten Rat, und ermahnte sie den Zustand des Stolzes zu vermeiden. Er sagte:
1. Lasst euch nicht blenden und werdet nicht übermäßig stolz, weil ihr in einem guten oder rechtschaffenen Umfeld seid, denn es gibt keinen Ort, der besser als das Paradies ist, und unser Vater Adam (Friede auf ihm) durchlebte dort, was allgemein bekannt ist.
2. Werdet nicht stolz, bloß weil ihr häufig betet, denkt daran was mit Iblis (Satan) geschah, nachdem er sehr lange Zeit in Anbetung verbracht hatte.
3. Haltet euch selber nicht für bedeutend, weil ihr rechtschaffene Menschen getroffen habt, denn es gibt keinen Menschen, der rechtschaffener ist als der Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), doch dass sie ihn kannten, hat den Ungläubigen und Heuchlern keinen Vorteil gebracht.

Today, the British government again confirmed its expressed agenda to combat what it terms as "extremism" in a report outlining a series of measures to prevent what they define as an "extremist" from having any platform for discussion in the UK. Cutting through the fluff, its already well established what the British establishment consider to be "extremist" - a belief in the applicability of Sharia law in contemporary times, the concept of belonging to a single Muslim community internationally (the umma), the legitimacy in resisting armed attack and occupation through the use of force (Jihad), and the aspiration of living under an Islamic caliphate. These four identifiers of "extremism" will be easily recognisable to any students of Islamic theology, as part of a centuries old normative tradition. By adopting such identifiers, Muslims are confronted with either renouncing traditional normative Islamic belief, or being labelled as "extremist". I previously wrote about this in several places, included the piece "The Fallacy of the Blair Narrative" on Foreign Policy Journal, and the conclusion "that each of the four points mentioned as the key identifiers of "Islamism" and "extremism" are part of centuries of normative orthodox Islamic scholarship, recognized as such in Western academia (as can be confirmed through a perusal of the 13 volume Encyclopedia of Islam published by Brill). Indeed, it is an ironic fact that according to traditional Islamic scholarship, denying the obligation of a caliphate (one of the identifiers of "extremist" thought) would be considered as the perverted, heretical view, a point I have discussed from an academic perspective in a separate short article recently."(available on Political Theology blog) The latest report and proposals appear to be a further step in raising this pressure, and there are as of yet absolutely no signs of any reconsideration of this strategy of excluding swaths of Muslims due to their values. This is part of the strategy of ignoring foreign policy as the source of grievances that ultimately spur blowblack, and instead trying to shift the blame onto ideas that run contrary to British interests, both home and abroad. Warum "ausgerechnet Frankreich"? Erst vor kurzem hat Frankreich bei den Atomgesprächen mit Iran deutlich die Positionen Israels vertreten und eine Einigung mit Iran bis zuletzt zu sabotieren gesucht. Assalamu alaikum liebe Geschwister
Die Sammlung der Spenden war alhamdoulillah erfolgreich und wir möchten euch über das Ergebnis informieren.
Ein besonderer Dank gilt denjenigen, die neue Kleidung oder gewaschene Kleidung gespendet haben,barakAllahu feekum.
Leider haben wir viel Kleidung erhalten, die unseren Vorgaben nicht entsprach. Wir baten um Winterjacken und zogen teilweise Badehosen und Sommerkleider aus den verschlossenen Tüten.
Auch wenn der Gedanke dabei war, dass die Geschwister in Syrien Kleidung dringend brauchen, möchten wir euch auf Folgendes hinweisen:
- Das Problem ist nicht das Sammeln der Kleidung, sondern der Transport dorthin. = Bitte berücksichtigt deshalb unbedingt die Vorgaben
- Alte, kaputte oder schmutzige Kleidung würden wir selbst auch nicht anziehen, also dürfen wir diese auch nicht unseren Geschwistern geben(!)
- Vergesst auch nicht, dass gut gemeinte Kleiderbündel für die Sammelstellen eine Menge Arbeit bedeuten (Lagern, sortieren, etc) = Deshalb haltet euch bitte immer an die Vorgaben
- Alles, was nicht den Vorgaben entsprach, können wir aus Platzgründen nicht mitschicken; die brauchbare Kleidung darunter haben wir in ein Asylheim gebracht. Diese Aktion kostet wirklich viel Zeit = deshalb haltet euch bitte an die Vorgaben
- Eine Kleiderspende sollte für keinen eine Alternative zur Müllentsorgung sein
