Syrian Army Kills Saudi Colonel, Eliminates Terrorists across Country

The Syrian Army continued to smash terrorist groups' dens and gatherings in intensified operations carried out across the country during which large number of terrorists were eliminated, including group's leaders Syria Armyand foreigners.
In Damascus Countryside, an army unit destroyed an armed terrorist group's den that contained an amount of weapons and ammunition in Alieh farms in Douma area.
A number of the terrorists, some of them are of Arab nationalities, were killed in the operation, including Sami Abdullah Ahmad from Somalia.
Another army unit ambushed members of an armed terrorist group in the eastern mountains in al-Zabadani city, killing many of them.
Units of the armed forces killed a number of terrorists, injured others in the village of al-Wadi in Rabi'a, in Lattakia countryside and destroyed terrorists' cars loaded with rockets, RPG launchers, machineguns.
Another army unit killed 12 terrorists and injured others in the village of Zahiyeh.
18 terrorists were eliminated, others were injured and a car loaded with launchers, 3 cars equipped with heavy machineguns were also destroyed in al-Aliya village.
Units of the armed forces killed and injured a number of terrorists in the villages of Tirtiyah and Eyen al-Samour.
46 terrorists, among them a Saudi connection colonel named Abu Daifallah al-Saudi and a French and two British terrorists, were killed.
A military source said that all members of armed terrorist groups who were looting and attacking the citizens in al-Dbait street, the vegetables souk in al-Ashrafiyeh neighborhood, Salah-Eddin and Bustan al-Kasser neighborhoods and the old city of Aleppo, were eliminated and injured.
An army unit confronted an armed terrorist groups' attempt to attack al-Kindi Hospital and foiled terrorists' attempts to detonate two cars bomb in the area surrounding the hospital, killing and injuring scores of them.

ISIL Terrorists Kidnap 50 Kurds, Execute Iraqi Journalist

Terrorists of the so-called "Islamic State of Iraq and Levant" have kidnapped at least 50 Kurds in the past three days, as they executed an Iraqi journalist.
"In the past three days, ISIL has kidnapped at least 51 Kurds in the towns of Minbej and Jarablus," said the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
Among the hostages were nine children and a woman, said the Britain-based group, adding that there was no information on where they had been taken.

The kidnappings come weeks after Kurdish fighters further east, in majority Kurdish areas, expelled extremist militants after battles that lasted several months.
In response, the terrorists have imposed a siege on Kurdish areas of Aleppo, where Kurdish fighters are weaker, said Observatory director Rami Abdel Rahman.
In July, ISIL kidnapped some 200 Kurdish civilians from the Kurdish towns of Tal Aran and Tal Hassel also in Aleppo province. Only a few of those hostages have since been released, the Observatory says.
Meanwhile, a press freedom watchdog said on Thursday that extremist militants have kidnapped and executed an Iraqi freelance cameraman working in northern Syria.
"Yasser Faysal al-Joumaili's execution was the first of a foreign journalist in Syria's so-called liberated areas," said Soazig Dollet, head of Reporters Without Borders' Middle East and North Africa desk, referring to the areas uncontrolled by the Syrian government.
Joumaili had been working as a freelance cameraman for an unidentified Spanish media outlet in strife-torn Aleppo province for about 10 days, Soazig said.
He was kidnapped by ISIL terrorists while on his way out of Syria and executed in the northwestern border province of Idlib on Wednesday, she added.
Joumaili had previously worked for Al-Jazeera English and Reuters, Doullet said.

Ex-Shin Bet Heat Slams Netanyahu: Peace Talks Bigger Threat than Nuclear Iran

The Former head of 'Israel Security Agency' or the Shin Bet slammed the Zionist prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu for handling peace talks with Palestinians.
According to the former Shin Bet chief, the lack of a permanent peace agreement with the Palestinians poses a greater threat to the Zionist entity than Iran's nuclear program.
In a conference held in Tel Aviv Museum marking ten years to the Geneva Initiative, Yuval Diskin called for the formation of a new government coalition formed of pro-peace parties.Yuval Diskin
"The implications of a lack of a solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict are more existential than the Iranian nuclear (program)," he said.
"It may now be the last opportunity to reach a two-state solution. The Geneva Initiative proposes a correct foundation for an agreement. Any accord has a low chance of survival without a regional agreement," said Diskin.
"The implications of no solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict pose a bigger existential threat than the ones of a nuclear Iran," he stated.
Diskin called on "prioritizing the sanctity of the people over the sanctity of the land, and to turn Israel into a country that does not require the occupation of another people."
He added that Israel must freeze all further construction of settlements, and said that the amount of settlers in the West Bank has reached proportions that no government could uproot.
He further claimed that the move to free Palestinian prisoners "is a disgusting and cynical move that was born out of a desire to avoid freezing settlement construction."
Commenting on the peace process, Diskin noted "like an economic crisis, just the existence of hope can facilitate a process of growth. How do you do it? Those who were chosen and are known as supporters of the two-state solution need to implement a change in the current political map. In other words, there needs to be a coalition in which peace supporting parties are partners."

Europe militants in Syria pose threat to EU, allies
On Thursday, Paris and Brussels also said up to 2,000 Europeans are now fighting against the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in the Middle Eastern country.
Meanwhile, reports out of Syria say the number of foreign militants there is steadily on the rise.
Foreign-backed militants usually sneak into the Arab country through the Turkish border.
Turkish officials recently said they had deported 1,100 militants waiting to cross into its southern neighbor.
Moreover, Western intelligence officials have warned that al-Qaeda-linked terrorists are establishing a base in Syria which threatens European countries.
According to a report published by The New York Times on Tuesday, US officials say the situation may force Washington to take action by either striking the militants operating inside Syria or approaching the Syrian government.
British intelligence sources say more than 300 Britons are now fighting against the government of President Assad in the Arab country.
The Scotland Yard's counter-terrorism chief, Richard Walton, says there are indications that Britons fighting against the Syrian government are returning from the Middle Eastern country with orders to carry out attacks in European countries.
Andrew Parker, head of Britain's domestic intelligence service, MI5, said on November 7 that the UK intelligence service has "seen low hundreds of people from this country go to Syria for periods and come back - some large numbers are still there - and get involved in fighting."
"Syria has become a very attractive place for people to go…; those who support or sympathize with the al-Qaeda ideological message," Parker added.
In May, President Assad said militants from 29 different countries were operating in different parts of the country.
According to statistics compiled by the United Nations, more than 100,000 people have been killed and millions of others displaced due to the turmoil that erupted in Syria in March 2011.

Kerry Calms Tensions with Bibi: Israel Security "at Top of Agenda" in Iran Talks

US Secretary of State John Kerry was in the Zionist entity on Thursday for talks aimed at calming tensions with prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu over a nuclear deal sealed between Iran and world powers last month.
"I can't emphasize enough that Israel's security in this negotiation is at tThe nuclear deal was roundly condemned by Netanyahu, who called it a he top of our agenda," Kerry told reporters after a meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in occupied al-Quds (Jerusalem).
"And the United States will do everything in our power to make certain that Iran's nuclear program of weaponization possibilities is terminated."
Earlier on November 24, Iran and world powers reached a deal in Geneva on the Islamic Republic's nuclear program. In which Tehran agree to roll back parts of its nuclear program in return for limited relief from Western sanctions.
The deal was roundly condemned by Netanyahu, who called it a "historic mistake".
"We agreed on what the goal of the final status agreement (with Iran) ought to be, and in the days ahead we will consult very closely and continuously with our Israeli friends in order to bring about a comprehensive agreement that can withstand everybody's test," Kerry said.
Kerry landed in the occupied territories late on Wednesday for a trip aimed at giving momentum to Israeli-Palestinian peace talks, which have made little apparent headway since they began under his patronage in late July.

Anti-apartheid hero Nelson Mandela passes away
South Africa's anti-apartheid hero and former president Nelson Mandela has passed away at age 95 in his Johannesburg home, South African President Jacob Zuma has announced.
In a somber statement on South African national television on Thursday night, Zuma said Mandela had "departed" and was "at peace". "Our nation has lost its greatest son."
Mandela, who led South Africa's transition from white-minority rule in the 1990s after nearly three decades in prison, was one of the towering political figures of the 20th century.
"Our people have lost a father. Although we knew that this day would come, nothing can diminish our sense of a profound and enduring loss," Zuma said.
"His tireless struggle for freedom earned him the respect of the world. His humility, his compassion and his humanity earned him their love. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Mandela family. To them, we owe a debt of gratitude. Our thoughts are with his wife, his former wife, with his children, his grandchildren, his great grandchildren and the entire family," he added.
Mandela had been receiving home-based medical care for a lung infection after three months in hospital. He had been suffering from chronic respiratory conditions, probably due to the fact that he contracted tuberculosis in prison years ago.
"Our thoughts are with the millions of people across the world who embraced Nelson Mandela as their own and who saw his cause as their cause. This is the moment of our deepest sorrow," the South African president stated.
"What made Nelson Mandela great was precisely what made him human. We saw in him what we seek in ourselves," Zuma said.
Mandela served as president of South Africa from 1994 to 1999, and was the first South African president to be elected in a fully representative democratic election.
After years of resistance against apartheid rule in South Africa, Mandela was arrested in 1962. He was sentenced to life in prison, where he served over 27 years. He spent many of those years on Robben Island.
Following his release from prison on February 11, 1990, Mandela led the African National Congress party in the negotiations that led to multi-racial democracy in 1994. As president, he frequently gave priority to reconciliation. He left office in 1999 after serving one term as president.
In South Africa, Mandela is often known as Madiba, his clan name, or as tata, which means father.
Mandela received more than 250 awards over four decades, including the 1993 Nobel Peace Prize.
Seen as South Africa's moral compass, the highly revered leader announced his retirement from public life in 2004, but continued to make a few public appearances.

Mortar attack kills 9 members of Syrian family .
Nine members of a Syrian family have been killed after mortar shells fired by foreign-sponsored militants hit their home in the northern city of Aleppo.
The attack took place on Thursday in the city's al-Mashareqah district.
Moreover, dozens of others were injured in the attack which caused material damage to some houses, cars and stores nearby.
On Wednesday, an unnamed source at Aleppo Police Command said several mortar shells struck residential areas in the city, including al-Fourqan, al-Meridian, al-Fayd, al-Jamiliye and Bustan Kul Abb, killing 17 people.
At least 30 civilians were also injured in the attacks, the source added.
Mortar attacks have killed and wounded many people with increasing frequency in recent weeks.
On November 29, four people were killed and 26 others injured in a mortar attack targeting the historical Umayyad Mosque in the Syrian capital, Damascus.
On November 28, one person was killed and nine security guards injured when mortar fire hit the Russian Embassy in Damascus.
Foreign-backed militants also fired mortar shells into Idlib University in the northwest, killing two people, including one student, and injuring 17 others.
Syria has been gripped by deadly unrest since 2011. According to reports, the Western powers and their regional allies -- especially Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey -- are supporting the militants operating inside Syria.
Over 100,000 people have been killed and millions displaced due to the violence, according to the UN.

Gut zwei Jahre ist es her, dass die Bundesregierung sehr selbstsicher auf eine Bundestagsanfrage der Linkspartei zu rechtsextremer Gewalt in Deutschland antwortete. Das Bild der Sicherheitsbehörden von Taten "im Phänomenbereich 'Politisch motivierte Kriminalität – rechts'", hieß es da, sei "realistisch und umfassend". Es bestehe kein Grund zur Annahme, dass der Staat Todesopfer übersehe, teilte Innenstaatssekretär Ole Schröder im September 2011 mit. Die offiziellen Statistiken seien "nicht in Zweifel zu ziehen".
Dass dies nicht stimmte, ist seit dem Auffliegen der Terrorgruppe Nationalsozialistischer Untergrund (NSU) jedem bewusst. Das vielfache Versagen der Sicherheitsbehörden ist unter anderem im 1.314-seitigen Schlussbericht des NSU-Untersuchungsausschusses des Bundestags dokumentiert. Schon zuvor hatten Langzeitrecherchen von ZEIT, ZEIT ONLINE und Tagesspiegel ergeben, dass seit 1990 in Deutschland mehr als 150 Menschen durch Gewalt von rechts zu Tode gekommen sind – doch bis heute tauchen nur 60 von ihnen in den staatlichen Statistiken auf. Als nun diese Woche bekannt wurde, dass die Sicherheitsbehörden 746 weitere mögliche Fälle identifiziert haben, war das Erschrecken groß. Doch diese Zahl sagt – noch – wenig.

Rückblende: Als Reaktion auf das NSU-Desaster beschlossen die Innenminister von Bund und Ländern, bundesweit nach unentdeckten Gewalttaten von rechts aus den Jahren 1990 bis 2011 zu suchen. Koordiniert wird die Suche von einer sogenannten AG Fallanalyse des Gemeinsamen Abwehrzentrums gegen Rechtsextremismus und -terrorismus (GAR), in dem seit Ende 2011 Vertreter aller Sicherheitsbehörden von Bund und Ländern abwechselnd in Köln und Bonn-Meckenheim zusammensitzen. Bei der Suche wollten sich Polizei und Geheimdienste wohlweislich nicht mehr nur auf die eigene Kompetenz verlassen. Zu einer internen Tagung im Jahr 2012 wurden deshalb auch externe Wissenschaftler eingeladen, um einen Kriterienkatalog zu entwickeln. Dieser geht in Teilen über die offizielle Definition "politisch motivierter Kriminalität – rechts" hinaus, die 2001 nach öffentlichen Debatten über die Genauigkeit der staatlichen Statistiken reformiert worden war.

17-jährige Kader aus Bonn vermisst !
Seit Montagabend wird die 17-jährige Kader aus Bonn vermisst. Das Mädchen hatte am Morgen ihr Elternhaus in der Nordstadt verlassen, um zur Schule und dann zum Sportkurs zu gehen.
Am Abend kehrte sie nicht nach Hause zurück.
Eine erste Fahndung und die Ermittlungen verliefen bisher ohne Ergebnis.
Die 17-Jährige wird wie folgt beschrieben:
- 164 cm groß
- braune Augen
- lange, dunkle Haare
Sie trug eine dunkelblaue Jeansbluse, eine schwarze Jacke und schwarze Leggings und hatte eine Handtasche aus Jeansstoff bei sich.
Hinweise an die Polizei unter Tel. 0228 / 15-0 sowie jede Polizeidienststelle unter der Notrufnummer 110. (hin)
