    For the record, iERA are not at #GPU2013 this year. We have put dawah materials into every welcome bag so people can invite those close to them to get to know Islam inshaa'Allah. I myself am part of panel for a new documentary that is being pre-screened at GPU on Christian Missionaries in Africa. Come join me tomorrow at 6PM I think for the screening. The documentary is eye opening to the emotional and psychological trauma that christian missionaries return with. It also highlights a real issue that we as an ummah need to face up to. Chrisitan missionaries are converting people for textbooks. We need to unite upon dawah to not only invite others with wisdom and beautiful speech, but protect ourselves and our families from a very real and credible threat. Don't fear for yourselves, fear for your children and grandchildren.

    There are some great da'wah projects going on around us one of which are the da'wah stalls/tables that we find. AlHamdulillah many non-Muslims have taken shahada at the hands of the brothers involved and many more have had their misconceptions about Islam removed. If you feel uncomfortable speaking to non-Muslims about Islam then this is something I would recommend you getting involved with to help increase confidence whilst speaking to non-Muslims and giving da'wah in general. However, one of the issues that various brothers involved in this type of da'wah have mentioned is the number of people that take the shahada but then seem to disappear despite there being follow-up programs in place for these people. One could say that although they may accept that Islam is the truth through logical reasoning, they lack sincerity and commitment to the shahada? For me, this issue stresses the importance and need for every Muslim to become a da'ee (to a degree) and to integrate well into society thus preventing us from solely relying upon one-off conversations with non-Muslims. When we speak with our neighbours, collegues etc. we see them regularly so it becomes a lot easier to follow-up with them. For this to happen the collective level of imaan and Islam within the ummah is key therefore da'wah to Muslims should also continue and not be neglected. So, the question for me extends to how can we do more in terms of da'wah to Muslims in order to raise the collective level of imaan within the ummah and also to train the lay people to become da'ees? Also, as we know that the mechanism by which the Prophets ('alayhim assalaam) gave da'wah was Mantiq Al-Fitrah which involves stimulating a persons heart aswell as their logic. Much of da'wah is actually a heart to heart thing. Which is why Du'aa goes hand in hand with Da'wah. When we speak to someone about Islam do we also sincerely pray for them, by name, for them to be guided to the truth? If the answer to this is no then it is not their sincerity that should be questioned rather it is ours... I pray that Allah Ta'aala makes us all Da'ee ilallaah (callers to Allah) and gives us sincerity in all that we do.

    Earlier today a friend reflected on Obama's inept conduct of foreign affairs. I (partly) differed as follows: There is another possibility in the cards here which seems to carry/shoulder some analytic-descriptive throw weight as well. That being Obama, far from being played by the Mullahs, is simply in league with them and operating in tandem with them. I will confess to having initially belonged to the interpretive school which holds that Obama is such a naif, so far in over his head playing with the proverbial 'big boys' from Russia's Putin on down the line, that he IS being played. But my view has, slowly but surely, come around to where I NOW see Obama as consciously desiring (for part of his legacy as President, for what duty he sees as incumbent on him as a Moslem) to assist Iran in becoming a nuclear weapons power. I believe this to be true because, as Obama sees things, Israel has entirely too many advantages over his people(s) and because Obama wants Israel's advantages and accomplishments to be offset by another regional party. Thus, we have Obama, under this (alternate) interpretation, as not someone as entirely inept as he has arranged to appear to be, but rather as a crypto enemy to Israel AND the United States and their respective long term interests. I cannot say that the degree of conscious ideation reaches the level where in private communication he has embraced this mission (of assisting Iran in its aims) declaratively, but consider whom he has working for him as critical advisers. Is it possible for ANYONE to believe that Susan Rice will be upset to wake up one day to find Iran having declared itself for having assembled such a bomb and integrated it with a misslle delivery design? Is it even possible to think that Valerie Jarrett will be anything other than pleased and delighted that the country of her origin is positioned to create horrible security problems for Israel, the US and its other allies?

The Post's John Crudele revealed that in the final months prior to the 2012 presidential election the U.S. Census Bureau released fabricated data. In particular, in September 2012 the Census Bureau astonishingly claimed that the unemployment rate had dropped in one month from 8.1 percent to 7.8 percent. I — along with many others — said that the number was not only bogus, but had been deliberately manipulated to help Mr. Obama achieve a second term. I was right. 2049581400The mainstream media and the Obama campaign immediately seized on the new unemployment figures to claim the economy was rebounding. According to the president's surrogates, it was definitive proof that Obama's economic policies — the $787 billion stimulus, lavish government spending, the auto bailouts and high deficits — were finally paying off. The liberal media pushed this narrative to convince Americans that Obama was an effective economic steward. It was a giant lie. According to the Post, the September 2012 job numbers were faked. The data was manipulated in order to drive the unemployment numbers down. In fact, the Census Bureau allegedly knew there were employees who were rigging the figures several years before the 2012 election. Yet, the government agency did nothing. One of the employees involved in the deception campaign, Julius Buckmon, told the Post that the numbers were falsified at the behest of his superiors. "It was a phone conversation — I forget the exact words — but it was, 'Go ahead and fabricate it' to make it what it was," Buckmon said. The Post story goes on to state that there are other "rogue employees" throughout the Census Bureau who also manipulated the unemployment data — and some continue to do so to this day. The Bureau has been suppressing this information and refuses to punish the culprits. In other words, the Census Bureau may have been turned into a partisan tool of the Obama regime. This should come as no surprise. The sudden drop in unemployment from 8.1 to 7.8 percent in the fall of 2012 was met with considerable skepticism — especially, among conservatives and some in the business community. For example, Jack Welch, former CEO of General Electric, openly accused the Obama administration of cooking the books. "Unbelievable job numbers," Welch tweeted. "These Chicago guys will do anything … can't debate so change numbers." Liberal pundits vilified Welch as a kook, a crazy conspiracy theorist. He is the very opposite: a successful businessman, who understanding the private sector and basic economics realized that such numbers could only be generated by a Reagan-style expansion. The economy — as should have been evident to any sane person — was not booming in 2012 (or any other time during the Obama presidency). Hence, such figures were not only improbable. They were impossible. The president's entire re-election was based on a pack of lies. If the electorate knew the true, destructive nature of the administration, Obama never would have won. His regime transformed the Internal Revenue Service into a political weapon to intimidate and harass opponents, preventing groups from organizing against him in 2012. On Benghazi, the president and his allies deliberately misled the public to cover up the terrorist murder of four Americans — including U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens. They did this while claiming Al Qaida had been smashed and defeated. Instead, the Islamist network was on the march. Obama's surveillance state, using the National Security Agency to spy on millions of fellow citizens, was kept in the shadows. And finally, the president's central promise regarding Obamacare — that if you like your health care plan, you can keep it — turns out not only to have been false. Obama knew it was false. The Obamacare regulations compelling millions to change insurance were written into the law several years before the 2012 election. In short, he repeatedly, consistently and knowingly lied. Which begs the question: If Obama's entire re-election was based on fraudulent promises and deliberate mendacity then was his victory illegitimate? If Americans knew then what they know now — the Obamacare debacle, the moribund economy, the terrorist assault on Benghazi, the IRS scandal and the growth of a soft police state — the president would have lost. And lost big. Obama's regime is imploding. It is only because the U.S. system has fixed presidential four-year terms that he is still in office. Under a parliamentary system, such as Britain or Canada, Obama would either have been forced to call an early election (and be defeated) or face an internal leadership challenge and be driven from power. Instead, he has been reduced to a permanent lame duck. The liberal messiah has finally been unmasked. Jeffrey T.     Akhlaq ändert nicht die Lage der Ummah. Unter den Muslimen hat sich die Meinung verbreitet, dass wenn wir uns einen guten Charakter aneignen, Allah (swt) den Rest erledigt, undzwar ein Kalifat errichtet. Es gibt im Islam drei verschiedene Beziehungen, die Quran und Sunnah regeln. Die Beziehung vom Menschen zum Schöpfer. Die Beziehung von Menschen zu anderen Menschen. Die Beziehung vom Menschen zu sich selbst. Ersteres regelt der Islam durch die Aqida (das Überzeugungsfundament) und die Ibadat (gottesdienstlichen Handlungen). Das Zweite wird durch die Muamalat und Uqubat geregelt. Und das letzte durch Akhlaq (tugendhafte Charaktervorschriften und die Kleidungs- und Nahrungsvorschriften). Wir sehen, dass Akhlaq einer von mehreren Aspekten des Islams ist. Akhlaq bedeutet seine Verträge einzuhalten (wahrhaftig sein), nicht zu lügen, nicht zu schimpfen etc. Das heißt, sich an spezifische Gesetze des Islams zu halten. Wieso soll nun gerade dieser Aspekt des Islams die Ummah zum Aufstieg verhelfen (Sprich: Einen Staat errichten lassen). Es stimmt, dass Allah (swt) über den Propheten (a.s.s.) sagt, dass er einen guten Charakter besitzt dass auch der Prophet selbst über sich sagt, er ist gekommen, um die guten Tugenden zu verbreiten. Das ändert nichts an der Tatsache, dass es nur EIN Bestandteil des Islams ist.
